Expectations of King-Morgridge Scholars
- The scholarship is contingent upon strong academic performance and scholars will strive to maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
- To remain eligible for the King-Morgridge Scholars Program, scholars must complete at least 12 credits as a full‐time student each semester.
- To remain eligible for the King‐Morgridge Scholars Program, scholars must actively participate in program activities that include individual advising appointments, program meetings, and other scheduled programming activities. Also, respond to KMSP communications in a timely manner and submit absence requests to the program manager in advance of events or activities.
- Scholars are required to participate in Orientation and the Wisconsin Experience Seminar during their first fall semester.
- To remain eligible for the King‐Morgridge Scholars Program, scholars must be a good citizen of the general University community. Following all university policies and state/federal laws is expected.
- Scholars must understand that violation of these requirements may result in termination of the scholarship.
Program members will agree to these terms at acceptance of the scholarship. Expectations may be adjusted at anytime at the discretion of the KMSP staff. However, we commit to providing clear rationale and advance notice when expectations need to be changed.
