1. Are there specific issues in poverty alleviation or development that you would like to work on or are currently addressing?
I am particularly passionate about using technology to reduce wealth disparities. By equipping individuals with technological skills and empowering them to leverage these tools, I believe we can unlock potential and drive meaningful poverty alleviation efforts. Moreover, technological advances can enhance quality of life broadly, even for non-tech users.
2. What is a fun fact about your hometown?
Our unofficial motto is: “If you don’t like the weather, just wait 15 minutes.”
3. Why is being a King-Morgridge Scholar important to you?
Being a King-Morgridge Scholar is important to me because it connects me to a diverse community of like-minded individuals. Though from various backgrounds and fields, we share a commitment to serving our home countries, host communities, and future generations, often collaborating to make meaningful contributions through this shared mindset.
4. What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to crochet and bake (especially sweet treats)!
