1. Are there specific issues in poverty alleviation or development that you would like to work on or are currently addressing?

I believe education is the solution to most of the problems existing in our society, including poverty. I am passionate about working on initiatives that enhance educational accessibility, especially for underprivileged communities. My focus is on devising programs or projects that go beyond providing mere education. I strive to create platforms that equip individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds with the practical knowledge, skills, and resources crucial for securing employment opportunities.

2. Why is having the King-Morgridge Scholars Program at UW-Madison important to the institution, state, and world?

There’s a well-known saying that people with great passion can make the impossible happen. The King Morgridge Scholars program, which nurtures such young passionate people with high quality education at UW-Madison, is preparing the future of tomorrow. The King-Morgridge Scholars Program holds a significant value for UW-Madison. It brings a diverse pool of talented students which enriches the academic community. Along with the talents, it also brings varied perspectives and experiences to the institution. The King-Morgridge Scholars Program is not just about scholarship; it’s about fulfilling dreams of accessing quality education. This aspect of the program is what makes it so special.

3. What is a fun fact about your hometown?

I come from Nepal. From soaring mountains to dense forests, Nepal is a home to breathtaking range of biodiversity.

The Lakeshore Path, Lake Mendota during a moonlit evening, and my dorm.
