1. Are there specific issues in poverty alleviation or development that you would like to work on or are currently addressing?

I want to better understand the interdisciplinary use cases of technology and learn how we can make them scalable, economical, and accessible on a more regional level so that developing communities can improve the quality of their data sources and research outcomes and make informed decisions about their healthcare and environmental issues.

2. Why is being a King-Morgridge Scholar important to you?

As a King Morgridge Scholar, you have the opportunity to learn and grow among highly motivated, hard-working, and accomplished individuals who come from different parts of life and who constantly push you to perform at your best. You are a part of a family that supports your ideas and passion and is always there for you.

3. What is your favorite thing about Madison?

The view of Lake Mendota and evening walks around the campus are my two favorite things.

4. What is a fun fact about your hometown?

There used to be more temples than houses in Kathmandu; thus it used to be called “the City of Temples”.
