1. Are there specific issues in poverty alleviation or development that you would like to work on or are currently addressing?

I’d like to address poverty by improving access to education for local kids. In my area, many fall into poverty because they stop pursuing education at a young age. My goal is to motivate and support these kids to continue their studies, which is crucial for their future success.

2. Why is being a King-Morgridge Scholar important to you?

Being a King-Morgridge Scholar is important to me because it allows me to meet incredible, dedicated people from around the world. Learning from their experiences and applying these insights to give back to my community is a transformative opportunity that I deeply value.

3. Why is having the King-Morgridge Scholars Program at UW-Madison important to the institution, state, and world?

It fosters global collaboration, enriches academic diversity by having students from all around the world, and empowers future leaders. It drives state innovation and contributes to solving worldwide challenges through the scholar’s views and actions.

4. What is your favorite thing about Madison or the U.S.?

The beautiful campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
