Q and A with Debrah

1. Can you tell us about your work experience at UW-Madison?
I worked as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant for an Introduction to Programming I course. This role involved assisting students with foundational programming concepts, helping them troubleshoot code, and supporting them in building their skills in computer science.

2. Have you had any research experience related to your field?
Yes, I was involved in machine learning-based research with Informatics Skunkworks. This research allowed me to apply machine learning techniques to real-world data and contribute to advancements in informatics.

3. How are you involved in poverty alleviation or development initiatives, and what are your future plans in this area?
I am currently involved in STEM education, which I believe can be a powerful tool for poverty alleviation. By supporting students in gaining STEM skills, I hope to contribute to providing individuals with opportunities to improve their economic prospects and make an impact in their communities.

I like our beautiful university campus.
