Q and A with Guech

1. Are there specific issues in poverty alleviation or development that you would like to work on or are currently addressing?

I aspire to harness technology and economic insights to contribute to poverty alleviation and sustainable development in my home country, Cambodia. Even with the significant progress made, many in poor rural and urban areas still receive inadequate learning support, hindering them from reaching their full potential. Therefore, improving access to quality education in these areas is one domain I am interested in addressing. Additionally, enhancing food security and agricultural productivity through data-driven solutions is also a focus I would like to pursue.

2. What is a fun fact about your hometown?

Takeo province is famous for being a major rice-growing region in Cambodia.
