1. Why is being a King-Morgridge Scholar important to you?
The King-Morgridge program offers a unique opportunity for driven young people to pursue a high-quality education at one of the prestigious public research universities in the U.S. The network that stems from this program is very strong as each student gets to pursue their unique journey and career aknowing that they will be supported by the program and their colleagues.
2. Why is having the King-Morgridge Scholars Program at UW-Madison important to the institution, state, and world?
The King-Morgridge Scholars make a significant contribution to campus diversity, representing a demographic that, without the program, would not be able to afford to attend UW-Madison. The scholars bring unique perspectives and ideas to the community and the classrooms making the campus a richer intellectual space.
