Q and A with Angeline

1. Are there specific issues in poverty alleviation or development that you would like to work on or are currently addressing?

I work with diverse youth, a group statistically identified as one of the most vulnerable to extreme poverty. I plan to use my degree to advocate for and actively contribute to the creation of public policies and international documents that provide guidance on how to alleviate poverty among diverse youth.

2. Why is being a King-Morgridge Scholar important to you?

It has given me the opportunity to believe in myself and the positive impact I can have on the world. It allows me to explore concepts and integrate them into my solutions. It serves as a reminder that I must be the change I want to see in the world.

3. What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to read fiction and non-fiction. I also like to go on walks.

4. What is something you are passionate about?

Strengthening democracy through open government and youth advocacy.
