1. Are there specific issues in poverty alleviation or development that you would like to work on or are currently addressing?

As a Wisconsin Idea Fellow, I’m collaborating with the Morgridge Center to provide reading materials and conduct STEM workshops in Siaya County. These workshops engage students with hands-on activities to spark interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, helping overcome educational barriers and inspire future learning.

2. What is a fun fact about your hometown?

Kisumu, is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, and the “Kisumu sunset” over it, is famously stunning. When the sun sets over Lake Victoria, the sky often lights up with vibrant hues of orange, pink, and purple.

3. What is something you are passionate about?

I’m passionate about leveraging technology to solve global challenges and issues.

4. What is your favorite thing about Madison or the U.S.?

What I love most about Madison is its unique blend of a vibrant city feel with the welcoming, close-knit atmosphere of a small town.
