Q and A with Tracy

1. Why is being a King-Morgridge Scholar important to you?

The King-Morgridge scholarship allows me to have an excellent education and access to resources and opportunities that empower and will continue to empower me to serve others more effectively. It has also enabled me to meet and learn from inspiring people from different parts of the world who are compassionate, enterprising and actively solving problems in their communities.

2. What has been your involvement in volunteer and student organizations?

I previously volunteered as a Badger, contributing to various campus initiatives, and I am currently an active member of the Student Body for Social Business organization, where I engage in projects focused on social entrepreneurship and community impact.

3. What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy dancing, reading, going on walks and biking.

4. What is your favorite thing about Madison?

I have a deep appreciation for the university’s rich learning environment. The classes offered and world-class faculty members challenge and inspire me to expand my knowledge and critical thinking. UW-Madison is a place where I continuously learn how to learn.
